nenaneem: I am a 20 something year old that is just as confused as everybody. I have a corporate job, however am looking to self-actualize. I graduated with my Masters in Public Policy. Three years ago, I chose to work in government because I wanted to use my creative ability and communication skills to help Canadians. What I underestimated was how bureaucracy institutionalizes ineffectiveness, and someone from the inside cannot change it. I will write more about this. Something that I have clenched on like a life line recently, is my ability to meditate and muse. Perhaps this is my undergraduate degree in philosophy itching to come out. Rather than putting on a rash creme and praying this itch will go away, I am now succumbing and letting this rash melt my skin so I can melt this mediocre and complacent version of myself away. Working in a federal bureaucracy almost killed me, and now I would like to reclaim my critical thinking and intellectual abilities.
